Alain Demarolle – Chairman of the Board of Directors

Alain Demarolle is currently the Chairman of the Board & majority shareholder of Proxinvest. Alain has held a number of high-level positions, both in the financial sector notably as a Partner at Bear Stearns International and Eton park International, as well in the public sector. In France, he has among others positions served as Economic & Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Advisor to the Minister of Finance on SWFs, Board member of the Invest in France agency and of the FSI-France Investissement, and Chairman of the Board of LCH Clearnet SA. Most recently he served as Chairman of the Board of My Money Bank, an independent French bank focused on retail banking and consumer finance, the First ever bank to be acquired by a financial sponsor in France and of My Partner Bank. He graduated valedictorian from Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) as an Inspecteur des Finances and started his career with the French Treasury and the Ministry of Finance (1991-1998). Alain also holds an MBA from ESSEC, a Post-Graduate Economics Diploma from Sciences–Po, and a PhD in Philosophy from La Sorbonne University.
