Nicolas Boucant – PhD candidate, legal counsel

Nicolas Boucant is preparing, in partnership with Proxinvest, a doctoral thesis in private law on “Conflicts of interest in corporate law” under the supervision of Professor Frédéric Bicheron at the Doctoral School Organizations, Markets, Institutions of the University of Paris-Est (LaboratoireMarchés, Institutions, Libertés EA 7382).

In the context of his research, he ensures the application of specialized voting policies of asset management companies and may be called upon to occupy the similar functions of corporate lawyer by contributing his legal expertise in governance and public affairs.

Nicolas, who holds a Master 1 Business Law degree from the University of Aix-Marseille III and a Master 2 Business Law degree from the University of Paris-Est Créteil, joined Proxinvest in February 2018.

He also gives supervised courses in common company law at the Bachelor’s degree level (3rd year) at the University of Paris-Est Créteil.
