top international businessmen, AFL CIO 's president John Sweeney and Lafarge's
Chairman & CEO Bertrand Collomb have contributed to the third
annual convention of International Corporate Governance Network
(ICGN.) organized this
year by giant New York pension fund TIAA-CREF.
The International Corporate Governance Network was founded four years ago in Washington D.C. on the initiative of major equity investors including US, Canadian, British pension funds, insurance companies, corporate governance professionals including Proxinvest, individual investors, shareholders associations. Total equity holdings of the members of ICGN which aims to promote responsible investment values is estimated to exceed US 10 trillion. The convention has been highlighted by the participation of 350 participants representing 25 countries to the meeting...
